From new wellbeing tips I've picked up lately to the best books, supplements, podcasts and Instagram accounts, here are just a few of the things I'm loving right now...
The Podcast I'm Listing To...
Friendship Therapy by Emma Reed Turrell
A spin-off from her Best Friend Therapy, this is such a great listen. As a psychotherapist, Emma explores friendships in all their forms and it's really fascinating. I love how she talks to real people about how things change amongst friends and it really does give a fresh and eye-opening perspective on things. It's light and refreshing and a great one for your morning or evening walk now the weather is finally bit warmer.
The Book I'm Reading Is...
'You Are Here' by David Nicholls
As many of you will know, I'm a big book worm - especially before bed as it really does help me to switch off from the day and sleep better. I won't give away too much but it's a contemporary novel and the main character Marnie and Michael are both so warm. A pretty easy page turner and one I'd really recommend as a good holiday read.
The Best Piece Of Advice I've Heard Lately...
"Meet people where they are."
This is really saving me from expecting too much... something we are all guilty of.
The Supplements I'm Taking...
Bare Biology Pure Marine Collagen Powder
I'm getting stuck back into collagen after a bit of a break... not for my skin this time but for joint health. I'll be 46 this year so trying to be mindful of taking care of my body even more so. I really rate this one from Bare Biology and it's by far the best I've tried.
The NEOM Product I Can't Put Down...
Super light and perfect for giving you skin a mighty mineral boost and hit of hydration, these Body Milks are my go-to post bath or shower right now. Packed with 7 wonder minerals (like magnesium and zinc) and 6 key vitamins, they not only sink into your skin in seconds but you will love the 100% natural scent too. I go for Energy Burst in the mornings and Real Luxury at night.
My Latest Wellbeing Tip...
Buy a Mother In Law Tongue plant.
I've just bought one for my new house as according to NASA's Clean Air Study, they're great for purifying the air. It's low maintenance which is a big bonus for me and my busy schedule and it's also fine to have around pets too. I've potted mine in the corner of my bedroom but thinking about another for the kitchen too...
The Skincare Product I Can't Be Without...
Paula's Choice 25% Vitamin C + Glutathione Clinical Serum
Healthy glow is always my goal when it comes to my skin and if there's one ingredient that helps, it's vitamin C. It's great for perking up dull-looking skin and can help to even out your skin tone too. I've been through a fair few vitamin C serums and this one from Paula's Choice must be a goodie as I'm on my second bottle. I use it religiously every morning before my SPF.
My Favourite Follow...
The new house has also meant I've become even more interior obsessed. I love the aesthetic of Birdie Fortescue - it's classic but homely and a bit boho. I've just bought a stripey ottoman and a fancy rug. It's really elevated my new longue and I'm a big believer in making your space one you feel relaxed and calm in.
I'm Also Loving...
Making my own salad dressings.
I'm all for the small steps that can help to make a BIG difference and when it comes to eating well, it's all in good prep for me. I find eating salads a lot easier in the summer and I've been whipping up my own salad dressings to drizzle on top. Tastier, healthier AND cheaper... triple win. Try olive oil, mustard, honey, salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon.
